ABOUT US
The WBR Race Engines team, Nic and Dan Williams specialise in American V8 engines. With passion for racing and being American car enthusiasts, the route into this industry was obvious and came from a young age.
Dan left school with an engineering NVQ before moving onto an apprenticeship role with Peter Knight, who he worked with for 4 years. From this, Dan continued to build engines in his spare time, until 2016 when demand grew and it became a full-time venture. Nic and Dan launched WBR Race Engines.
Later, the Williams invested in a SuperFlow Dyno (one of only few in the UK). At WBR, we strongly believe that each and every engine must be ran on the Dyno to go-through the running in process and a thorough quality check.
With the demand for WBR Race Engines increasing, in 2019 we moved into our brand new purpose-built premises. The new large facility now accommodates temperature controlled engine build room, tear down and machine shop, Dyno cell and parts counter.

NIC WILLIAMS
Nic takes full control of the parts and specifications. He works closely with Dan to ensure that Dan is equipped with everything he needs to build the incredible engines as well as he does. With experience and incredible association with suppliers, obtaining the very best result to suit the application is always his priority, his work alongside Dan makes the perfect combination.
DAN WILLIAMS
Dan builds and perfects the race winning engines and combinations here at WBR engines. With incredible skill and knowledge derived from his experience within the industry, Dan delivers impeccable results for a variety of clientele – he ensures that the engines work at their maximum capabilities by studying it closely on the In-house Dyno machine. Dan builds a variety of powerful and reliable race, street strip and restoration engines for customers across Europe.
